Best Cellars retail store opened in 1987 and has long been regarded as one of the top fine wine retailers in Sydney.

Proprietor David Matters focused his expansion via the corporate boardrooms of Sydney. These days, Best Cellars is established as the leading corporate retailer in Sydney. The shop has also gained a reputation as Australia’s leading New Zealand fine wine specialist, supported by a large annual tasting now in its 10th year.

In early 2005 Best Cellars was invited to become a member of the prestigious Alliance of Fine Wine Merchants. This allows us the privileged access to some of Australia’s more exclusive producers such as Giaconda, Spinifex and Montgomery Brothers. David is the incumbent President for the 2007 Calendar year.
