2007 Flametree Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot has just won the JIMMY WATSON MEMORIAL TROPHY (for one year old wine). It is the first Margaret River wine to win in 20 years! Flametree is a new winery in Margaret River and is owned by the Gordon and Towner families. The Towners provided the land and the Gordons the winemaking skills.
